The girls had a fun-filled Friday! We started the day by going to a 2nd birthday party for a little girl from our playgroup. It was an ice cream and cupcake party at a place called Pickle Bob’s. The cupcakes seemed a bit too messy for Sloane, so she (very carefully) poked at the icing with one finger while watching all of the other kids plow through theirs without much thought! Reese was happy to sit tight and hold on to her balloon. What a trooper!

After our party we tried out a new playground. Sloane (sporting her shades) had a blast trying out all of the equipment. She was quite daring and tried a lot of new things. You can catch her in the photos going head first down the slide.

We spent the evening working on colors, which Sloane gets a real kick out of. She wants to practice “finding” the colors over and over again. I just hope Reese is listening really well and learning her colors at the same time!
