Halloween Partying

We can’t believe it is already the end of October! This is definitely one of our favorite months of the year and it’s amazing how quickly it’s come and gone. We’ve certainly enjoyed the cooler weather and changing leaves.

The month has also been full of firsts and fun activities. Sloane has really began to talk and repeat words that she hears. She has learned to say “yes” which sounds more like “ice.” We find this hilarious and can see ourselves being sad when she learns to say it correctly. Sloane also enjoys listening to music and dancing to her favorite song “The Piggy Polka.” Check out the photos section where Sloane is doing the polka with some of her friends.

This year will be Reese’s first Halloween. She is the classic pumpkin (how original) while Sloane will be an owl. The girls attended a Halloween Party today dressed in their costumes. All the children from our play group came dressed in their costumes, posed for pictures, painted and decorated pumpkins and enjoyed tasty treats! It was a great time and the girls enjoyed seeing all of their funny looking friends.

We’re looking forward to trick-or-treating with both girls tomorrow. Sloane is working on saying “trick or treat” to get candy, while Reese just needs to continue being cute in order to get her treats! Happy Halloween!
