Labor Day, 26 Weeks and Counting

A little Labor Day news for everyone; looks like we have our own special labor day to count down to. That’s right, Suzi’s pregnant! We are extremely excited of course and wanted to wait until we hit the magic 12th week to let everyone know. It wasn’t easy keeping it to ourselves, but Jenn and Eric will tell you that we’re pretty good with this kind of approach. I think the term they use is “secret squirrels.” Seems about right.

So, 12 weeks by Suzi’s calendar was this past Tuesday, the 29th. Our doc seems to think we may be a little further along and that our projected due date, 13 March, may move closer to the 7th of March.

We did get a sonogram and as evidenced by the pictures, this baby was on the move! We got a hand in one, a head in another, and kicking legs as well. Wow. Early estimates show that everyone is healthy and we’re very thankful for that. Suzi is doing a great job with her meals, eating enough of everything and getting some light exercise in, even an occasional yoga session. She is my new-age gal.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with this blessing and look forward to sharing our progress with everyone. We’ll try to do a lot of that through this site and envision it as a way to post pictures and the latest with friends and family. Don’t forget to check out the sonogram pictures in the Photos section (in the sidebar on the right, or click the tab at the top of the page).

Hope this finds everyone well! (Go Irish!)
