Sloane is the big six months today! Wow. We can’t believe it’s already been 6M and are amazed at how quickly she is growing. She’s now able to sit up on her own, is “talking” quite a bit, and developing quite a fun personality. Of course, this particular milestone means more shots. Ugh. We prepped with some baby Tylenol beforehand and after a few tears, all is well. The vitals: 15 1/2 lbs and just under 27 inches long.

So, we were slackers on the pictures this month but have a very suitable replacement. Kevin Hurley Photography is pretty much family at this point, having been present at all the recent Anderson weddings. And when Julie and my Mom cruised down to Roanoke at the end of July to get her bridal portraits in Kevin’s studio, Suzi and Sloane tagged along for some baby pics. Not only do Kevin and his staff produce amazing work, they are a joy to work with and we are pleased with his latest pictures for us. Check ‘em out! We’re looking forward to seeing Kevin and his crew again at Matt & Julie’s wedding in November. You’ll probably catch them setting things up at some point during the festivities, however, they do such a great job of fading into the background and being part of the celebration after that. It’s pretty amazing.
