It’s the end of the month and I’m certainly overdue for a post. It’s actually been a whirlwind of activity here in South Bend, which is one reason we haven’t gotten around to posting.

I finished my Thesis work the first week of April and had a successful oral defense in front of the faculty. Suffice to say that I’m proud of the work, but relieved to have it done. After that, I had to finish up teaching and report to my next, most anticipated job yet; full-time stay-at-home Dad! Suzi’s maternity leave was up in early May and I’ve been the man on the scene since. It’s wonderful to be with Sloane during a time when she’s growing like crazy and also a healthy reminder of the responsibilities of the stay-at-home parent. Wow. All in all, both Suzi and I are anxious to retain more traditional parenting roles. Ha.

We also had Sloane’s baptism and my graduation the last two consecutive weekends. More on those in the next few posts. But first, the goods on our growing girl.
