We’ve officially been parents for 3 weeks and couldn’t be happier with our completely altered lives. We’ve had a couple sleepless nights (Suzi more than me, admittedly), but that’s part of the fun, right? As long as we keep telling ourselves that…

Suzi’s Mom and Stepdad came in for a visit after we took a week to settle in. They had a great time passing the baby around and we enjoyed their stay. My folks came in a week later, on the tail end of Neil and Judy’s trip, although my old man could only stick around for a day and a half. Boeing keeps him pretty busy back in Virginia, especially with his new promotion. A big congrats to Dad.

So, my Mom stayed for a few days and was a great help around the house. We’re looking forward to more family visits over the next few weeks.
