And Then It Was… February?

Wow. Time has certainly moved at a brisk pace since last we posted in November. We had another wonderful visit by family (Jenn & Eric) in November and were guests ourselves over the Christmas Holidays at my folks house. Everyone made it back to northern Virginia (including, count ‘em… SEVEN dogs) with the exception of Jeff’s fiancé, Elizabeth, as she was on a very short break and spent the time at her home in Boston. We’ll all see her soon though as the countdown to their wedding has reached a few short weeks! Of course, we have pictures of everyone and I’ll do my best to get some posted in the next week or two. Including one of a very good looking mustache (special request from my Dad).

Nothing really new to report in South Bend. Suzi is doing really well with the pregnancy. The comfort factor hasn’t drecreased too dramatically, so she’s still getting decent sleep and moving around okay. My thesis work has really ramped up and will be all-consuming for the next few weeks. The work is due one week after Suzi’s due date, so our anxiety for the end of March to arrive is extremely high. We’ll be that much closer to warmer weather as well. As I write, we’re in the midst of our first heavy snow. We had about 6 inches last night and expect 6-10 more over the next 24 hours. No comment on that.

We hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas Holidays with family and friends. Suzi and I had a great time in Virginia and I look forward to seeing everyone in Florida in a few weeks. Suzi is unable to travel that late in the pregnancy and my trip will certainly be abbreviated with the cell phone close at hand!
