Visitors Past

I’ve been meaning to post on how much we enjoyed our most recent visitors, but my final year Thesis project has been all-consuming. College football is still somewhat of a priority (with the Irish still in the hunt), so I thought I’d post while rooting for Spurrier and watching with glee as those California Bears fall to ASU.

Jeff and Elizabeth were in town for a barnburner of a game against UCLA on the 21st of October. It was an amazing finish to a very mediocre performance by the home team. Certainly one to go down in Irish lore. As always, we joined in the pre-game tailgate festivities and have some pictures in the Photo gallery here. We pretty much relaxed the rest of their visit. We haven’t seen Jeff since before he left for Iraq so it was great to catch up on how life in the Panhandle has been treating him. Their wedding planning seems to be going very well and we’re excited for them as they move closer to the date. Suzi and Elizabeth shopped a little for baby clothes while Jeff and I did some spirited motoring around town in the MINI. Overall, we had a great time and we’re looking forward to visiting again over the Christmas holiday.

Hope this finds everyone well. Talk to you soon.
