New House, Cold Weather & Fun Times!
Wednesday, 4 February 2009 by Suzi
We’re finally settling into the new house and adjusting to the cold temperatures. Both girls seem to have had a very smooth transition, which we are thankful for. Since arriving, we have seen plenty of white, snowy days. Sloane and especially the dogs have really enjoyed getting out and playing.
On the extra cold days we have found plenty to do inside. Whether Sloane is drawing on the glass doors with markers (made for glass), building block towers, throwing clothes down the laundry chute or painting she is definitely a busy girl! Reese is getting so big and learning a lot. She is now rolling over and sitting up (almost independently) to play. She just had her 6 month appointment and is weighing in at 18.5 lbs! Can you believe it? She is still as happy as ever and a whole lot of fun. She is a huge fan of her big sister. Sometimes she will sit in her highchair and Sloane will play peek-a-boo with her by popping out from behind the chair. They both laugh so hard and it is a riot to watch!
Hope that everyone is enjoying the start of the new year. Check back soon and please stay in touch!
