Well, we seemed to be really churning out the posts for while there. Suzi got up to speed with the posting practice and since she was taking most the pictures anyway, she was primed for getting those posted. I also decided to use a different method for posting our photos, which has made that process much, much easier. So, what’s been going on the last six weeks? Well, we’re moving. Again.

After living in South Bend for three years for graduate school, thinking we’d never be back… a year and a half later we’ll be living a few miles from our old, two-bedroom rental. It took a rare job offer and the prospect of having a house and a yard to make it happen. After that, it was a no brainer. A friend of mine, who was a colleague at graduate school, is running a small startup design studio with his business partner. Aside from being extremely talented designers, they’ve got a great client roster and more work than they can keep. I was flattered to be considered a candidate to help them grow the business. So, Suzi and I are moving the fam up at the end of the month. Looks like we’ll need to make an effort to turn those winters into a positive!

In the meantime, we’re enjoying the company of family. We made the big push to get our house packed over the Thanksgiving break and I moved all our stuff up to the Bend with the help of my mom about a week ago. That means the townhouse is empty and my folks are loving having the girls in the house for a few weeks. Jeff & Elizabeth will be arriving in a few hours for their Christmas break and Matt & Julie will show up the day after Christmas. We won’t get to see Jenn & Eric since they just recently shipped out to San Diego, but I’m sure we’ll be doing some video chatting to keep tabs on their growing girl.

Suzi is planning to get some pics up of the girls in the next few days, so if you’re still hanging with us, stay tuned. We’ve already got a list of things to do at our new house so I imagine the posting will sputter along, but we’ll have plenty to update when we do.
